Our retreat home for the Pause Maine is a freshly renovated, architectural gem tucked among the spruces on Southport Island. The house is full of expansive windows and is cantilevered over a granite ledge.

The expansive porch is perfect to enjoy the sun, and find peaceful moments of reflection and quietude, or a beautiful conversation over a warm cup of tea. The property has its own lovely moss-covered forest, as well as a walkway to the ocean and access to a deepwater dock a short stroll from the house.

The house offers our guests a shared room with 5 twin beds, and two shared rooms with shared beds. There are three and a half luxurious baths. A laundry is available to guests if needed.

At the PAUSE we believe in accessibility and community. We have decided to offer sliding scale pricing with the hope to make our beautiful retreat available to as many mothers as possible.
